  2.  @captmorgan2063  Curious calling them horrendous, mortgage rates in early 1980's were 15 to 18%. We've been spoiled in recent yrs to 'free money'.

  5.  @michaeln4018  I bought a new '96 Chevy in late '97 that had been on the lot 18 months or so. Got a very good price.
