  1. Mostly it's due to wild lands mismanagement. These lands were "meant" to be burned almost seasonally to keep the forests open and healthy. Native Americans would see to it if nature didn't first.

  2. The problem is almost 100% that fire is NOT FREQUENT ENOUGH HOW they start is completely trivial, if it's not one thing it will be another. It's ALL about mismanagement, allowing the fuel load to build to catastrophic levels. Native Americans would light wildlands SEASONALLY.
