  3. LA Times has been beating the drum: "End of Sierra snow coming soon!" for decades, last time I'm aware of was 2022 right before near record snow in the Sierras.

  5.  @JackRichardsonM8  I don't think so but climate has always been scary, Younger Dryas, 2.5M yrs of horrific climate w mass destruction of habitat over and over via glaciation punctuated by these brief interglacial periods. Coolest time in last 10k yrs was around 1880's and warmest (warmer than today by up to 1.5C) was Medieval Warm Period. Inconvenient facts to the science deniers, aka, climate alarmists.
