@christianvillanueva4902 I'm old enough to remember it and the War against The Vietnam War was tearing the nation apart, literally. How many military vets were against it I don't know just as IDK how many Russian military men are against this war and neither do you.

@daniels0376 Hard to. Our servicemen in Nam were watching American TV and not recognizing the war they were actually in.

@daniels0376 On the other hand, by the end the hippies were convince all our Vietnam vets were "baby killers", so not unlike today ppl were to an extent in their own bubbles. Hippies weren't wrong about everything but spitting on returning vets at the airport while the rest of the nation just wanted to forget, really messed up many Vietnam vets, they expected to be treated as heroes. Most were conscripted after all, they didn't choose to go.

@jusfugly Many of us fought it on the home front, I was small child not an activist, but I remember.
