  2. We store a lot of it, vast majority of fresh water on Earth is ground water and it is being replenished along with surface reservoirs. GREAT START to a drought busting rain season, but we need months of this. Edit: liquid fresh water I meant, ice sheets/glaciers not included.

  3.  @imd1b4u  Good points and you seem tab better informed on some of it than I. For what it's worth--highly recommend "Blancoliro" channel here, he won't get airborne until weather clears but really knows the area and covers reservoirs, snow pack, fires, etc. He became popular for by far the best coverage of the Oroville spillway failure and rebuilding.
