Holtzy_Vref Pilot response time? No good pilot expects to be saved by a rescue crew from wreckage, they expect to prevent the crash from happening in the first place.

Mightiflier WTH? Why would I want to ban airshows? He fucked up and crashed doing something highly risky it's primarily HIS responsibility HIS fault. Outrageous? How do you think these guys often end up dead. Your response is childish and emotional. Get a grip. I bet he would agree with me if he was alive.

Mightiflier I think he would take full responsibility for his situation not look to blame others for his screw up. And I don't know if he burned to death, broke his neck or crushed his head, do you?

Mightiflier 'could have possibly'...unhuh, we all gathered that much. I would also say that not only the magnetos, etc., are ultimately the pilot's responsibility but also even the particulars of the field including the rescue personnel, equipment and readiness, even that can't be taken for granted. As long as we are speculating (as you are), perhaps he was rude to a few of the would be rescuers earlier in the day for all I know, and they didn't care to assist him as a result. Or maybe they simply had some technical failure of their own. Lots of possibilities.

Mightiflier Get over yourself, sheeeesh. Yeah if your going to be doing extremely dangerous stunts close to the deck maybe you better check out the emergency readiness available, no? The pilot fucked up and died, that's what happens to stunt pilots sooner or later.

@WhallonJesse My response would NOT be to blame others for a failure that was 1st and foremost completely in the hands of the 'victim'.
