@superfreiheit1 Giving more money to wasteful government is often like giving a drink to a drunk.

@superfreiheit1 Private sector wastes some but it's not remotely comparable to governments which have total monopolies and zero monetary discipline. Beyond that I'm not required to fund private companies with very few exceptions. Get the difference?

@superfreiheit1 Increase YOUR taxes too.

@princess4509 BULLSHIT. I started working at a hard rock mine mill as a laborer, any idea how it is to find anyone worth a damn for REAL WORK??

@princess4509 Minimum wage is for kids and entry level, first jobs. Anyone who doesn't bother to invest in themselves to acquire valuable skills is lazy and worth very little. Any clue how difficult it is to employ ppl especially given that the more you pay them the more the state PUNISHES you for it?? No excuses for not advancing one's life in America today. I'm not talking about Africa. 6 figures is available in a matter of yrs of diligent, mostly on the job training in the TRADES. Oh but they are above getting dirty just to earn real money, right?

THANKS! I won't waste any more time on it then.

@princess4509 I don't give a damn how you label some line of thinking, that's the province of those who don't have a case, it's a diversion. "Liberalism" is the biggest reason housing costs are high, some 40% the cost of building is due to regulatory mandates much of which are government overreach and bureaucratic empire building. As a society we have stigmatized the trades or anything that get's your hands dirty for decades. This results in an enormous opportunity for those not controlled by arbitrary job status signaling. Anyone of near average intelligence and health can fairly quickly earn 6 figure incomes today, no it's not *easy*, never was but it's far more doable and easier than ever. Most of the trades have been under high demand this entire century and will continue to be. NO EXCUSES for not being able to get wealthy on 6 figures with monetary discipline and modest financial literacy. Need I school you on personal economics? I'm an everyday millionaire (not a big deal anymore, we are common) starting at 18 by investing in myself, skills and *integrity*, working my ass off, living way below my means and investing very carefully. If that somehow doesn't workout where you are--MOVE...I did.
