@tomservo5007 Yeah reusable rockets and converting the entire global auto industry trajectory away from ICE is the biggest con job in history. All CGI, EVs don't even exist and neither does SpaceX.

@tomservo5007 Reusable is not a new idea, it's just a new thing that NO ONE else has come close to achieving. It's barely possible with chemical rockets in Earth's gravity well. Tune into Tony Seba, not fun to listen to but he's been right for decades and you'll gain by the insights.

@tomservo5007 Thunderf00t has made a business out of trashing Elon and served you very badly. I've made a modest fortune betting against him and will continue to do so. Today I can semi-retire early, minimal millionaire, and in a few yrs expect to triple my net worth. I stand by everything I've said, do some actual research instead of patronizing convicting but false narratives. Funny how these things take on a life of their own LONG after they are clearly false--my dad was smart but he subscribed to the "Peak Oil" fantasy long after fracking/horizontal drilling technology had 10Xed global oil reserves. I pointed it out to him after USA production had just superseded previous peak in 1973, that was a decade ago, pretty sure he dropped that subscription, lol.

@tomservo5007 Sure. And you should do some actual RESEARCH that you clearly have not done. I may owe Thunderf00t a debt of gratitude, realizing his audience is dominated by penniless pointless children--he probably influenced a few naïve adults with money and involved in markets. The smart short sellers , those betting against Elon, transferred something like $100B to us retail dummies. Greatest short squeeze in history, it was SO predictable and profitable. Hahaha

@tomservo5007 Care to point out a handful of lies Mr. Thunder convinced you of? At some point you have to admit you were duped, as difficult as that may be it's character building. We are all wrong to a degree, the goal is to be less wrong.
1
HA! *Nothing*....so tiny it's laughable. Do you worry about what the space station does to Earth's CG?
1
Yes it's only you.
1
How did you twist that into a negative? It was recognizing SpaceX success!

@tomservo5007 Only material strength gets in the way of it fundamentally working. Whether or not it could last with orbital debris is another thing.
1
Yeah we should return to the stone age instead.

@WaiKoH There has never been equilibrium on Earth. How many thousands of tons of natural debris lands on Earth every week? Random natural disasters happen all the time, etc. Living in the stone age wasn't safe, in fact it guarantees eventual mass extinction events, some avoidable today and likely most avoidable eventually.
