  1. Stanislav Žoldak Not only that but those EV subsidies don't remotely come close to balancing the trillions we have spent subsidizing petroleum in recent decades. How much of our tax dollars has been used just to keep the Persian Gulf oil lanes secure? How much does it cost to run an aircraft carrier battle group for a single day? We turned Iran into an enemy over oil company issues back in the '50's, they would have been a natural ally until we fucked the country up for oil....we continue to pay the price for that rotten behavior. Just a tiny sample of subsidies we continue to spend on fossil fuels but that we tend to forget.

  3. Elon IS a 1st rate speaker in my book, not due to superficial style points but from candor, apparent humility, humor, original thinking, intelligence and inspiration.
