@yingnyang2889 My deepest sympathies to you. :-/ HA! Back in the day when YT was young they badgered us to change our names....no idea why, I liked my handle "Fuel1". In irritation I chose the goofiest handle I could think of. Clearly many others had same response. hehehe

That "wood" trim looks like cheap plastic veneer.

@yingnyang2889 Thanks--that's good to hear, I'm only commenting based on vids I've seen, mostly 3's and Y's and it didn't impress me, looked fake. If it's real wood I'm good with it, otherwise prefer anything else.

@yingnyang2889 Don't want to focus too much on superficials but one spends a lot of time exposed to the interior details and it matters. Especially soft touch, padded contact areas are crucial to me, as apposed to hard plastics which are cheap and unpleasant. My 20 yr old BMW has real walnut burl veneer (one the most beautiful woods anywhere) which while not bad it looks a little fake as it's glossy with resin...but that makes it easy to dust off at least where as rough grain could be a bit more of a cleaning problem but looks far more authentic and 'warm'. As you describe Tesla's approach I like that better.
