Surprised it's as good as it sounds here, hatch a big deal but so is no fronk. Styling is excellent except for the front which is becoming less obnoxious over time, fake grills rub me wrong.

@gregkramer5588 Nonsense. Depends on the user but many find a sedan frunk to be highly useful. Certainly imagine I'd put groceries in a Tesla frunk rather than having to secure items in the back. Families want as much storage space as possible for a given footprint, significant front volume adds to that without having all items buried in the back.

@gregkramer5588 There is no downside to having a car efficiently enough designed to allow for the extra space and tends to allow for more crash safety, more extensive crush zones. Mach E vs Model Y (as per Munro) shows sloppy wasteful spaghetti of plumbing for the Ford which will also guarantees more maintenance issues, not just lost space, more weight and other operational inefficiencies. IDK about any surveys on that but wouldn't put much weight on any that weren't specific to owners of a car with frunk, or those with extensive BEV experience. Just imagining I'd personally use it more than rear storage and certainly want it for road trips.

@gregkramer5588 Surely efficiency and cost of operation matters to you. What features are missing for you in Teslas? Obviously no one brand is for everyone but objectively Teslas are the best value with possible exceptions for some in the Chinese market just beginning to be exported. If safety is paramount then Tesla today is the only choice, expect that will change over time tho. Another consideration is that the vast majority in the space today will not be around by decade end, big shake out coming as always happens with these sorts of things. (another reason I wouldn't own a Lucid even if money was no consequence) Once was some 65 American motorcycle brands and even more car brands. My dad could name around a dozen US car brands from his youth.

@gregkramer5588 I'm a bit of a dino too, not ready to give up the third pedal even, or my BMW M3 visceral engagement, but it's a replacement for high performance motorcycles of my youth, not a family sled. I have zero desire for an EV but one day that'll change. Do you still use a flip phone too? Can't do with out those buttons, right? HAhaha. What do you need service for? I agree about some of those controls being off the screen, you'll be sacrificing plenty for anything other than a Tesla...pay more for less and tune into anyone who's "driven them all" they'll tell you Tesla software is the gold standard, clearly better than the rest. Some alternatives are even front wheel drive which is garbage in any car and even worse in an EV. ALL will cost more for less. (again with possible exception of some Chinese brands) I have a sunroof on old BMW and rarely use it, just more weight in the worst place, less head room, waste of money that might leak water one day. Don't really enjoy having sun blast me in the face. Electronic darkening roof important and "birds eye view" a no brainer that Tesla will offer soon, they lag on that rt now. As long as you don't road trip long distances there are many good options for a more money, less performance, less safety, NO OTA updates which Tesla has been doing for a decade. Stiff ride vs cushy is tough trade off, Model Y and 3 have softer rides than they used to. Air suspension should soon surpass both options as S and X have long enjoyed.

@gregkramer5588 Good luck whatever you choose. I have no conception of ventilated seats, little idea why anyone wants such. But then I wouldn't recommend my choices of cars to anyone I can think of for similar reasons I wouldn't recommend they ride street bikes that I enjoyed so much for so long.

@mh0Ang95 Sure, no brand is for everyone. The quality issues are history, exceptions for X and S only. Yes BMW, Merc and few others have more luxurious interior and more physical buttons would be desirable for me too. Are you willing to pay double for inferior performance, computer and software and limited ADAS but nicer interior? Some will no doubt and options are always a good thing. Every other brand has laggy relatively rubbish software, etc., and will never drive themselves. Better have Supercharger access or don't leave town, at least in N. America, other chargers are garbage by all accounts. I still love my 'old' (seems new to me) BMW E92 M3 but I wouldn't likely recommend it to anyone else just as I wouldn't recommend a street bike which it replaces for me. Don't even desire an EV yet but I'll never buy a new or even expensive used ICE again....pretty sure.

@mh0Ang95 Agree that acceleration numbers become absurd at some point. Great to have options and happy there are good ones. I still much enjoy my old BMW 330, mildly upgraded and especially 2011 BMW M3 which I love. :D My only cars (excluding trucks) and all I care to own at the moment.
