  1.  @allanbadilla8041  Both were moving into the same otherwise unoccupied lane at the same time, it's a VERY common problem in normal freeway driving. Do you drive? Did either use their turn signals? Who was 1st over the line into new lane? (seems to be the Tesla) Who was more aggressive/reckless?--definitely the PU, likewise the PU had better view being slightly behind. Biggest diff between two vehicles actions was speed of movement as both were simply seeking the same empty space. Just from the vid I'd call it mostly PU fault but not 100%, Tesla apparently did nothing last split second to avoid even with a lot of room to work with to the left. Instead it appears to drive right into it. Both drivers oblivious to situation. I'd suggest 70/30 or 80/20, PU/Tesla. "Both take care of your own damages and call it even." lol

It wasn't a passing accident, it wasn't about acceleration, both of those have nothing to do with the COLLISION, it was about two vehicles CHANGING LANES into the same space. Your biases against PU drivers only undermine your case... this dude was an idiot for getting triggered and aggressive so is MOSTLY to blame.

  7. It wasn't only the Nissan the Y also tried to move into the same lane at the same time, mutual responsibility tho the PU had better view and more aggressive movement.

  9.  @cbro_  Do you have a license and drive? It's a legit question, not everyone does. I've driven everything from econoboxs, 1- ton trucks, 4X4's, semi trucks, moving vans, crotch rockets to 200 plus mph sports cars for 40 plus yrs.

  13. 6:30 That's not about merging too fast it's having trailer loaded without enough forward weigh bias! These amplified trailer oscillations happen for that reason almost exclusively.

  20.  @TheOminousVoidWispers  Affluent doesn't mean dumb, buying any car for a kid is dubious, to buy a performance or moderately expensive car is just stupid. Has nothing to do with if one can afford it financially. Similarly--trust fund kids are at extreme disadvantage to those who must struggle on their own, my grandfather nearly set us kids up, sure glad he didn't.

  23. Ran high performance street bikes hard daily for 15 yrs and never felt compelled to smash someone's mirror off. Not to say I wasn't rightly angry sometimes but splitting lanes--U take what you get short of deliberate threatening danger.
