@bryanwhitton1784 Both suck. Only two reasons for it, costs and in some cases--avoids being labeled and taxed as a "car". Get that thing sideways and it's going to be a big problem. And maybe a 3rd--novelty, that's a bad reason. OKAY--so maybe the electronic overlords prevent it going sideways in 90% of situations, then you have severely limited emergency maneuvering capabilities, limited capabilities period. And then the fact that you WILL hit every large pothole coming your way, it can straddle nothing. Every trike design ever was short lived with rare exceptions like India's little tut tut death traps. Back in the '80's we had 3 wheeler ATVs, they were fun but much more treacherous than the four wheelers that replaced them....endless examples.

@tealtraveler An F-150 is a hay wagon , trucks are good for two things--off road and hauling a load, they are garbage on the road...very good comparison as the Aptera will indeed be about that bad. I drive a 1-ton for my biz by absolute necessity, all be damned if I'll drive a lousy pickup when I don't need to.

@gmv0553 Anything that's not a rubbish SUV or pickup passes easily. Endless list. They equipped Aptera with such low grip tires it slides before tipping. Still a POS to drive obviously.
