Vast majority of participants in any new sector like this always fail. There were once some 65 USA motorcycle companies, dozens of car companies, how many personal computer Co.s in early '90's? Default expectation is always failure and this yr and next should shake out a lot both here and in China. Nikola is finished, Lordstown never got started, Fisker is just funny, Aptera unlikely to last, Rivian likely on the ropes in a few yrs. Looks grim for most Chinese Co.s with a handful of exceptions.

@mac_and_cheese-is-yumz HOW will they survive when they can't sell 200 or $250k cars, no matter how good they are? They can barely produce 10k per yr but only sold about half of those?? Rawlings comes off as a shyster anyway. Wish them well but doubt they will be around 4 yrs from now.

@mac_and_cheese-is-yumz Ahhh! But maybe Lucids are equally unique, only thing about Deloreans unique was the skin and doors, very standard otherwise except for exceptionally low power for it's class.
