  1. The West in burning because it was born to burn, fire is NOT OPTIONAL here. Native tree species can't exist without fire, inc our beloved redwoods. The reason it's burning sometimes catastrophically today is mostly due to missmanagement.

  2.  @machoopichoo2  Climate has little to do with humanity and CO2 but forest mismanagement is on us. CO2 is not trivial, beyond being essential to plant life, the gas of life, it's an important small player in climate.
