  3.  @Lukeevanshen  You don't understand where wealth comes from there would be no Tesla nor SpaceX without him. Naturally it's a massive team of brilliant engineers and so on but the guy on the assembly line is the only replaceable element there....I bet many of them are going to be millionaires too or already are if they took advantage of TSLA perks. Tesla's Mission Statement from some 15 yrs ago is to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy (by a decade or more according to Elon, impossible to measure but not far off) this is a massive benefit to humanity in the form of health, wealth and quality of life. Soon the 'poor man' will be driving for 1/4 or less the price that's been constant since the 1920's. You don't know it yet or don't understand the significance but HE has turned the entire global auto industry in a radical new direction. Then there is the solar and home to utility scale electric storage, transformative coupled with wind and solar power. Fossil fuels are zombies, walking dead. HE cut access to low Earth orbit by 10X! For the 1st time ever, everyone will have access to internet everywhere on the planet and we all depend on satellites even if we forget. His billions are peanuts compared to the gains we collectively will benefit from HIS refusal to quit when anyone else on Earth would have. Simple facts.

  4.  @Lukeevanshen  You have a very limited perspective and the underlying assumption that there is a static economic pie and it's only how you slice it. That's intensely mindless. It is NOT a zero sum game. Wealth must be created by individuals before there is anything to spread around. NONE of that money came at the expense of all those things you mention, in fact the opposite those things are all directly or indirectly the primary beneficiaries. Having many billions in the RIGHT hands is the best thing that can happen to Earth and humanity.
