  1. There IS NO billionaire space race, it's a ONE MAN show. Bezos and Virgin "Galactic" (more like Virgin California) haven't even come close to orbit. None of the old dinosaur astronauts ever imagined this, they panned the idea instead, only Elon did along with Neil D. Tyson (tho he came around nicely later). Credit to NASA for funding SpaceX when they needed it most, by now they have taken over global low Earth orbital access.
