  12. There are other states w similar sense but less publicized, some with small population. Montana, Wyoming, N. Dakota, most of Texas, Nevada... One of the best attributes of America is competition between states, testing of policies, some fail and must correct due to others doing better.

I'd love to have Rand Paul for pres or a few others picks from congress, precious few.

  41. I've been thru contractor licensing process and it's blatantly all about suppressing competition, not about protecting the consumer who must carefully vet prospective contractors regardless. Most said here is easy to agree with, however--the "flushing water into the ocean" is silly in the limit. We fully utilize the Colorado River to the point it long ago failed to be a river, doesn't make it to the ocean. That's a very unfortunate result, rivers, salmon runs, all river attributes and recreation matter too. Desalinization must be part of the water solution for SoCal.
