  15.  @dustintacohands1107  Unions are nothing but destructive of a healthy happy prosperous work environment. Why would ANYONE want that? The only 'gainers' are worthless "workers" who need external leverage to keep a job, their own merit isn't adequate. Those are not ppl I want to work with. Tesla is creating many everyday millionaire employees thru stock options, why would they want that to end and Tesla to suffer? Suffering is for GM and F employment.

  17.  @knotly1394  1990's or before he focused on several pertinent things--internet potential which he advanced and capitalized on, the threat of civilization hitting a wall when fossil fuels ran out, (not climate concerns initially) and the "need" to make consciousness multi-planetary. So he took his aprox $200M from internet companies and risked it ALL on two companies that he figured would most likely fail and nearly went bankrupt many times, only his dogged persistence saved them. Tesla has changed the entire globes automotive trajectory and SpaceX has cut low Earth orbit access cost by 10X thus dominating the space. (accidental pun) Early this century he became and remains very concerned about the existential risk AGI poses to humanity. (artificial general intelligence) So he created Nuralink to make humans more competitive with emerging machines, and now "Optimus Prime" bot project to steer such tech in a beneficial, non threatening direction as much as possible. He obviously doesn't give a damn about personal fortune, money is just a tool to reach for his outlandish goals. Otherwise he could have retired young with that $200M like most anyone else would have, not risk it all on crazy projects. That's a lot more than 3 and just the beginning.

  18.  @dustintacohands1107  :D Yes their days of doing anything positive are long gone. The only thing they ever did for me was motivate the launch of small contracting biz when I was 20, that was after experiencing the BS at my 1st industrial job starting at 17 and ending at 21 yrs old.
