  3. Live BENEATH YOUR MEANS and save a little every week, $10 or $20 at a time is all it takes just keep doing it. How many living hand to mouth spend a few thousand every yr. for non-essentials, that's just a fancy coffee and bagel every day say.

  6.  @terrylutke  Currency should be based on GDP not potatoes or it's equivalent--gold, or any other single arbitrary asset. The reason the dollar has value is folks have confidence (not faith) of the future productivity of America and reasonable currency management such that they can trade dollars for real items and services in the future.
