Your last line sums it up, they only benefit worthless "workers", causing endless conflict between management and workers, tons of wasted time and energy from both sides as tho we aren't all in the same darn boat, both sides are rowing in opposite directions. Once was called out to do some technical repairs on unique RR track maintenance equipment, just a wk or two contract job. Eventually that will become a problem for other reasons, Elon may have to preempt via fragmenting Tesla at some point. Opening Superchargers to the industry in general, is good in part due to undermining anti-trust concerns. If you believe, as I do, that AI and 10's of billions $ in super compute and 100's of billions of miles are required, plus best engineers on Earth....no one else is even in the running that I know of. Vid case is compelling and for those in countries where partial shares are not available. That all employees have skin in the game is a crucial part of Musk incentive structure.

  292.  @akira28shima32  I'm talking about ALL of us. How many times have you heard, for example, how many ppl got hurt in 2008/09? They got hurt only bc they reacted emotionally "couldn't take the pain" exited at a very bad time and then allowed fear to keep them from getting back in by say 2010/11....had they change either of those they'd be up some 4 or 5X just in a lousy index fund.

  296.  @NextGenEvs  I agree THEY are over optimistic but your numbers and gripes are even more emotionally silly. If you can fit a Bobcat in a crew cab F-250 you can fit it in the CT. 100 miles? Depends on how it's outfitted but probaly closer to 250. But hey, choices are good, if you want to pay $200 for a fill up vs $25, cool beans, my organic gardens thrive on the extra CO2, someone's gotta do it. :D

  297.  @NextGenEvs  If a diesel truck has it's range cut by a factor of 3 when towing then the CT will be about the same, a little more for heating, or pick your factor. There's no reason a well designed EV truck loses much more than an ICE. When I dealt with, say 10 or 20 deg F winter mornings, it took me 20 or 30 minute just to thaw the thing out before I could safely drive it. Won't take 10 seconds in a CT as it's already done for you.

  298.  @NextGenEvs  I've never heard of that low a range for regular Y in Norway, somethings wrong with that. You really load dirt in a pickup then manually unload? Or use equipment to unload? Other than bulk items, hay, lumber, firewood....rarely see anyone operate in such inefficient fashion. Sounds like you need a dump truck not a pickup.
