  2. It may slow down legacies urgency but not overall transition. Politicians are virtue signaling and/or ignorant, they want credit for a revolution they had little good to do with. Mandates will indeed prove irrelevant. Mandates also rightly cause backlash against BEVs so probably do more harm than good.

  3.  @machoopichoo2  Exactly. I'm not in favor of rebates/incentives either tho short term I may profit a little from them. There is a major backlash in the USA almost entirely driven by being "forced" into EVs, frankly I sympathize with it but it should be a backlash against government overreach, not so much a new technology.
