Ironically looks like Tesla will be biggest component of saving German auto industry.

@brunoheggli2888 OH!...maybe you meant small in terms of debt! All the legacies are drowning in debt while Tesla has essentially zero debt and excess cash.

@brunoheggli2888 It's leading the global BEV market and ICE are obsolete. Small in terms of profits?....nope--earns more than Toyota let alone BMW, VW, or Merc. All the legacies are in deep trouble. Small in terms of growth rate? How about plus 50% vs the legacies shrinking every yr. Still love my 'old' BMWs but don't see how they can make it thru this decade either. Maybe the big three German brands can merge, reorganize, etc., and survive the decade in some diminished capacity.

@marcelburghart9739 See where they are in 4 or 5 yrs. I wouldn't buy a new ICE today unless you have money to burn. Still love my 2011 BMW E92 M3, don't even want an EV, but it'll be my last ICE.

@brunoheggli2888 Lol. BYD not even close but close to breaking even on them that's better than legacies. Yeah I've made a modest fortune on TSLA because I don't let emotions control me like most ppl here obviously do. "Let your winners run."
