Except for efficiency, off road capability, body durability, road performance and handling, steering, software, suspension, locking bed cover, cameras, locking diffs, ground clearance and adjustability.....and maybe some truck owners care about sound system.

@Icayn None of them are a substitute for the 1-ton service type chassis I've relied on for decades. For me the CT is the clear choice as it can be a big car, carry lumber, furniture or whatever, power a welder, etc. Go anywhere I could possible hope to drive as effectively as anything out there. And in a yr or two--do the driving for me. Software doesn't matter to dinos who don't know what they are missing, like a flip phone vs smart phone. If I want more range I'll add it later. Props to GM for offering a fine option tho, choice is good. Might not last long as they will be losing a ton of $ on every sale for foreseeable future. I avoid any new model from any MFG for first couple yrs, let them fix the early problems first.

@GET2222 No stock GM would ever get that far on those concrete pipes. Right now GM is probably losing well over $100k per copy. GM looks to be a very nice truck--for a typical fragile cheesy chrome plastic grandma's grocery getter.

@andrewm8531 Efficiency matters unless U have more money than U know what to do with. Most charge at home almost all the time rendering charging spd mostly irrelevant. Many haven't been to a pubic charger in yrs. You'll not only pay more to charge but take longer for given charge spd. CT needs to and will improve via OTA updates, all Teslas get better over time. Did a Bolt ever do that? Can this GM? How often do U tow? Most never do.

@Icayn "80% of PU buyers are lifestyle buyers, personal use only, not work." I fit that majority even tho a PU would do a little lite work for me on occasion, I don't need it for that.

@andrewm8531 Any locking cover is rubbish compared to powered CT cover. Efficiency always matters if money matters. Yes you'll need faster charging speed and more money due to poor efficiency. Most charge at home overnight almost all the time, many haven't used public charger in yrs, then charging sp is irrelevant....until a rare road trip. Still the CT needs to improve on charge spd and range, it will to some degree w over the air updates. It will get better in everyway w OTA updates, they always do. How often do U tow? Most don't at all. Someone has to buy a the cheesy chrome plastic grandma's grocery getter PUs, ie., all brands not Tesla. Go for it, choice is good.

@chrishaberbosch1029 And the CT is temporarily price inflated due to demand vs supply, Chevy is not. CT will come significantly down in price while becoming better in most every way. And what about parts after GM goes belly up w only a few 10,000 of these out there?
