  1. Double hood latches make a lot of sense to me , allows hood to become somewhat of a structural element for crash worthiness. And it means a better stiffer connection of hood to car for daily use, feels right to latch it down solidly on BOTH SIDES. (my better old BMW has double, inspires confidence with two heavy laches, 4-point connection instead of 2-1/2 like most cars, Polstar appears the same)

  2.  @thealienrobotanthropologist  Great points. Maybe Tesla should offer a serious winter package someday. REAL Winter issues like that I no longer have to deal with much, but other climates, I can see your point.
