  1. I'm still skeptical about the economics, I hope it works out, so much more attractive than standard panels. I'll be looking into it for new house and maybe shop too.

  5.  @UndecidedMF  So am I. Also very interested (selfishly) how it will effect TSLA value in coming yr.s. As a NorCali resident the impetus to become independent or partially independent of the grid is growing every month with the continuous disaster that PG&E has become. Recent blackouts have driven solar stock prices up in some cases as many more households are driven to go solar. I've been expecting a E-utility death spiral eventually for yr.s now, seems like the beginning of the end of PG&E if not also SoCal Edison. I imagine they may be restructured as existing centralized power sources (hydro, wind, etc.) will still need to be distributed for a long time to come but I have doubts it will be affordable. Frankly I'd love to say "F-you guys, were cutting the wires." Excessive prices and mismanagement infuriates me.
