  2. I might fear the thing behind my light wt. sports car on the road. Model X drivers already have a reputation of being the "new Hummer" drivers, aka., assholes. Although I tend to think big jacked up PU drivers are the real Aholes. (for me the design looks good if it's justified by function, manufacturing efficiency, etc.) SOME do seem to purchase base on style alone--hence that tin can minivan PT Cruiser.

  4.  @samuelgomola9097  I just hope they offer a more sensible version. No need to change the basic shape but most of us don't need nor want an armored vehicle. Imagine how difficult and dangerous those doors are going to be when the truck is tilted a little, surely they are going to require powered door actuators with some of the same problems with sensors and controls that the X is famous for. Standard doors can be a problem when a truck is leaned over a little and these are going to be 2 to 3X heavier. A big negative for most of us. And wt. degrades every single aspect of a vehicle with the exception of colliding with another vehicle. Heavy doors also contribute nothing to the structure.
