If they can manage to overcome their toxic union mentality they can do far better working for Tesla, most won't be able to I suspect. Excess job opportunities in the trades in general however.

I've seen a rundown recently (forget where) concluding Tesla employees are about doubly compensated vs legacies...that's before stock options I believe, which have made many Tesla workers moderately wealthy of course.

A segment of Leftists are frankly weirdos who harbor notions like irrational diversity requirements, and of course the Woke Mob. No small number of original Tesla fans are in those/that camp. They think social justice is about results instead of merit and achievement unfortunately.
