Reckless to partially submerge any vehicle not fully quipped for it, water will seep into drivetrain bearings, ball joints, electrical connections and maybe batt pack even, never mind interior getting soaked. CT apparently has batt pack protected IF pre-pressurized.

Unless absolutely necessary it's very dumb thing to do, CT at least has pre-pressurized batt pack option but what about the rest of it? Flooded cars are typically totaled cars.

@tedmoss U-joints, bearings and such are not generally water proof, "sealed" is relative. This is why special grease is used in boat trailer bearings, grease more water phobic then other common greases. Best to assume water intrudes into any moving parts submerged and especially submerged while rotating/moving. I wouldn't pay much for a car I knew had driven thru 2 ft of water.

@ahaveland Pressure washing could be even worse, "sealed" bearings are generally pretty good at keeping dust and grime out. They must have sleeves (or similar) that slide past eachother, no absolute seal is possible between two moving parts.
