Yup, I park my fave old pristine BMW M3 way out in the parking lot and jog to and from it rather than have it exposed to extra traffic. And of course damage is more likely at Walmart then say Trader Joes, trashy ppl congregate in trashy places.

@DreDresChapters Some POSs get off on damaging shiny objects they can't afford. Had a crankster deliberately ram my old E46 330 for absolutely NO reason...career loser criminal, yrs later appeared in local news having stabbed couple ppl with a knife. Good argument for keeping repeat offenders locked up.

@thyristo Should be difficult to not be seen approaching to cover cams, that would require special effort that these losers aren't likely to put into anything.

@someuser7501 Yeah it's not a new or unusual practice. Figure it's unlikely some imbecile will be motivated to walk halfway across a lot to do something so pointless.
