@hwirtwirt4500 You are correct, and by ALL accounts it's very desirable, useful work truck, at least for local use which is most ppl most of the time. (wouldn't want to try n travel long distance in it YET) Ford has a chance to survive the decade which I don't think Government Motors does. Be fun to watch it all unfold.

Agreed, exceptions for those 1st receiving them perhaps, flip for a quick 10 or $20k gain?

Jim Farley reminds me of the previous Boeing CEO, real slick salesman, and prior Ford CEO Mark Fields, super smooth talker, make me nervous. Neither of them did so well.

@hwirtwirt4500 How many Lightening's have been, will be produced? How much are they making on them? (losing I mean)

They have at least a remote chance of surviving the decade in some dramatically reduced form...how are they going to deal with that massive debt that's sure to only grow foreseeably?

@heathwirt8919 It's hardly "gloom and doom" it's healthy creative destruction that has made America prosperous and great. Ford destroyed the horse buggy biz but is now staid, sluggish, forever burdened by the UAW mafia and the lazy culture it demands. GOOD RIDDANCE to Government Motors, legacies in general and the baggage they carry. Do you miss Sears, Kodak or Blackberry? A century is a long time for any companies existence, usually TOO LONG.

@heathwirt8919 "Has 5 vehicles." Yeah everyone has EVs, BIG PLANS and expenditures but they aren't making or selling them. Ford has some $100B in debt and are going to increase it greatly, they can't pay it back. They can't play in a fast moving dynamic space, not their thing since 1920's. Gone and forgotten like Packard, Studebaker, Nash, (my dad could list a dozen)
