  1. Seriously? That makes bankruptcy OK? You don't make money by losing it, a write off is essential or you'd be taxing profits that don't exist. Example: A grocery store writes off payroll and price of goods sold, etc., profits are what is left (around several % for a supermarket) after all costs are subtracted. If they, say donate to charity, that entire profit then they themselves are a non-profit, they have NO profits to tax! GOOD GRIEF, this non-thinking mythology is shockingly dumb.
