  1. ONE key reason many, somewhat legitimately, hate on EVs is governments forcing them on folks. I agree with them on that, it's not necessary nor productive. That leads to emotions expressed as related 'facts' to back it up.

  2.  @martinutr  It goes well beyond incentives, mandates are common and counterproductive, rightly cause backlash. But pols care about virtue signaling not results, and they'll take credit for a revolution they had precious little good to do with. Everyone will go BEV for basic self interest, economics will rule as always. Soon they'll be the poor man's only choice other than those who drive very low miles, they can keep that '94 Civic indefinitely. (BTW--was a day when "they" wouldn't touch a Japanese car either)
