GM is a farce, they aren't planning to surviving the decade, no one there cares.

Not a chance they'll be able to make it for less than say $60k and the software will still be horrible.

@Victic005 And they will, if they can sell them at all, this is what failure looks like. Not that all low production rate mfgs won't always lose money, but does GM have a path to scale of a compelling BEV? I doubt it.

@danharold3087 For the right price the Silverado would sell (obviously). GM had some 60% USA market share into the 1970's, now only about 15% and primed to get hammered down again.

@danharold3087 Based on recent history--GM/Mary Barra don't have a coherent path forward, nothing but managing perceptions. Imagine being so reckless and stupid as to mix it up with the likes of Nikola and Lordstown. And all 'planned' model releases, dozens to be revealed over a yr ago now long forgotten. I'll be writing my representatives when GM goes bankwupt and seeks yet another bailout. The best scenario is they are diminished to the point that they are no longer 'too big to fail'. I wouldn't cheer for that result except they asked for it and failure must be an option for free enterprise to succeed.
