  1.  @Rickbearcat  Plus our system has been fundamentally corrupting for decades. Cred to John McCain as he attempted to accomplish campaign finance reform in the '90's. "Who John, who is being corrupted!" another senator exclaimed. "All of us." replied McCain. The best candidate would be someone with zero political ambitions, someone who has an agenda to achieve certain goals, reforms, etc., but doesn't want the job, only willing to do it out of duty or desperation to get certain things done then return to respectable private life.

  2.  @Sedgewise47  Not only sad but terrifying if not infuriating perhaps. 1st hand glimpse of how societies allow total dehumanizing tyrannical governments like Communism to take hold. The scary part is that everything that makes us human has a genetic component , religiosity, courage vs coward, productive vs leach/criminal, submissive vs assertive and self respecting.... Your children are going to have some degree of her traits guaranteed, and not just intelligence, facial features and eye color.....
