  2. Bought '66 1-ton Chevy for work truck at 20 yr old, less than a grand it burned oil, hood crooked held by bungee, banged up. Pulled 327 and rebuilt by the book in dad's tiny woodshop, ran the piss out of it for decades, great 'little' motor. Wound up pulling 327 and selling it for a grand in 2002 after wrecking front suspension/frame. (OH...think I sold Muntzy (spelling?) 4sp w motor, only truck trans I could shift well without clutch, by then I had redone heads w hardened seats and installed "RV" cam, powerful for what it was w tuned Hooker Headers)
