  2.  @AlotOfAngryBees  Thanks for the effort, I guess that could make some sense. But if it's using Earths gravity I'd think the force could only be up or down not horizontal. If it's in deep space very far from any significant mass how would that work? What would it push against? Seems to me it would have to be manipulating the space it's in which would also allow it to not 'feel' the extreme accelerations too, accelerations that otherwise would tend to destroy most any materials it could be made of based on apparently moving almost instantaneously to new location--extreme velocity to a stop and visa versa. (I'm agnostic on these things but it seems something real is going on)
