  1. Why would magnetic polarity have anything to do with climate? It has flip endless times with no extinctions or anything else significant associated with it.

  2.  @lrvogt1257  Radiation is NOT climate any more a meteor shower is. There doesn't appear to have been any effects on life in previous flips, one or two of which must have happened since hominins have walked on Earth.
