@fefferryerr1818 Other than some lose bits it should be in one piece if it's made of typical malleable structural alloy. So either imploded which would be interesting to look at or a leak that filled it and equalized pressure in and out and likely looks essentially the same.

@AndyUK-Corrival Thanks. Was gathering that by now. The apparent lackadaisical nature of the builders/operators of this rig be enough to steer ME clear. Similar to a suborbital rocket like Virgin Galactic in terms of inherent danger, rigorous engineering, quality control and testing required. I didn't see any of that going into this mission, but only seen a tiny glimpse...more my intuition. Test the damn thing without humans on board a couple X?? Just go to that depth or a little deeper unmanned first.

@TwoBassed Maybe not the best choice of materials as composites are far better in tension then compression where as structural metals are equal in compression or tension.
