If they did a 10 to 1 split you'd simply get 10X as many shares at 1/10th the price. It's like breaking a candy bar into ten pieces, you still have the same amount of chocolate.

Future (and many currently on the market, LFP) batts will last decades, longer than ICE cars or current EVs can last today regardless of batteries. After 500k to 1M miles the batts will have lost some 20/25% of capacity, making them impractical for vehicles but still fine for stationary storage for another decade or so. After that they are treated as high grade ore with 95% recovery of metals. None of that justifies mandates, we all need to push back against excessive government, become a little more Libertarian. I found myself at 21, few years of college, gained some confidence by taking challenging classes, started own business which forced me to deal with all sorts of people and face my fears, everything from heights to financial risk, these things help immensely with my confidence in general, it must be earned. As well as becoming prosperous eventually. But I was still terrified of girls, especially those who showed intense interest in me . This may sound wrong to many but it worked wonders for ME. After having missed out on a couple fantastic opportunities with wonderful girls in college, simply out of FEAR....I was so pissed off at myself that I decided I knew exactly what to do--DO every girl who wanted me (I was a virgin up to then) and after my first few more came around, I guess word got out. I didn't carry on this way indefinitely, maybe a couple yr.s until I found a girl I fell in love with. It was the experience with the others that got me past the tragic, self destructive fear of what I wanted MOST. I deliberately murdered my shy side, it was the best thing I ever accomplished and I had fun doing it! :D Some cherished memories even with some ordinary girls. I can't simply talk to myself in the shower, I have to 'climb the mountain', PROVE by doing the calculus, physics, rebuild an engine, take on contracts that I don't fully see my way through in the beginning and finish them to the customers satisfaction, satisfy some women before I know I can.

Often parents do more damage to their children by staying together FOR the kids even after the two adults have grown to loath eachother, in that situation it's probably best to split time with the kids. Also some children do very well being raised by the "tribe" as a whole, the local community or broader family as would be necessary anyway if one or both parents die while their children are young.

  116. stace face Frankly I'm amazed at how many here get themselves in these horrible situations, on THE OTHER HAND--I regret I never had children and now in my late fifties I missed that part of life. Own my own home outright, have a nice business, date some fun women but haven't allowed any too 'fall in love' recently. I have been with maybe 200 women over the years including my permiscous early 20's, a deliberate strategy to whip my prior painful shy side...worked wonders for me. I have had mostly good experiences with women except for a few crazies that I had to cut off. My ideal is a fairly independent women who I could see maybe a few times per week and do many quality things with including some traveling, etc., a non-codependent, open-honest relation with some semi frequent top flight sex. I never intended to be "MIGTOW" but I guess I'm ok with it.

Exceptions are always possible but it's generally going no where otherwise, I know from experience and my preference, usually it happens on the first date or not at all. Her and I both know if we want it right away there's little point in playing by some externally imposed or random rules.   149. For anyone with an E9X M3: I've owed a 2011, 44k to 50k miles, carbon roof, manual, comp., 1 OWNER, stock, for over 2 yr.s. It might be a fluke but I changed ALL FLUIDS shortly after purchase, most came out clean just as I like, little bit of wet clutch grit from diff but nothing alarming, which I replaced with Mobil 1 to specs and the diff acted a little off (you'd have to be tuned in close to the machine to notice) diff would slightly engage during tight turns very low sp.s in a parking lot! No one else in car would notice but it wasn't right....... So I changed it with another higher end brand--SAME THING, I was contemplating rebuilding the diff but figured I'd give the Gold Plated BMW diff fluid a chance before that, right? I literally LOLed over the counter at dignified BMW dealership, $50/half liter, $150 for the job with a little left over. But damned if it didn't seem to solve the problem!! (just my very limited experience) Other than that which I DIYed there have been no significant issues in a modest 5 or 6k miles. (set of expensive rear tires, HA!) Mainly road trip it, in the canyons and mountains as much as possible. Next I'm going to dump the Mobil 1 I put in trans, don't skimp on parts and fluids...when cold it can easily grind into 2nd which I HATE. Redline waiting.
