  1. The number of prior owners is crucial, 5 owners even in 8yr.s is "renting", none of them were committed to the car long term. I paid a little too much for my E92 M3 because it checked all the boxes including 1 owner, from a moderate climate, no salted roads, apparently immaculate and UNMODIFIED. (and manual of course, lol)
