Rich is wrong about a couple things here, I'll pick on one: GOOG/GOOGL in his example, it doesn't make any difference that it's per share price is around a grand unless you have less than that to invest in the first place. If they did a 10 to 1 split you'd simply get 10X as many shares at 1/10th the price. It's like breaking a candy bar into ten pieces, you still have the same amount of chocolate.

  2.  @MYC_ODD_APP  A company has zero direct say about it's stock price post IPO. The Co. determines the price indirectly and only accurately over long time frames, via executing their business---growing with good future profit potential, for exp. What do you even mean by "overvaluing", what are your metrics?
