Gerben Nugteren So do you think you had it tougher than those who were sent to Vietnam?....or pick your generation. EVERYONE, every generation has it's challenges. Maybe you had it TOO EASY? Deal with it. We all start where we start and move forward or don't. I didn't like my employment choices when I was 20 so I put every extra minute, dollar and watt of energy into creating my own job, my own business. I had no idea if it would succeed or fail, I just new I had to try. I had no TV, no stereo, no toys or luxuries what so ever until after a few yr.s when all my hard won skills and investments began to bear fruit. I never looked back, always been self employed and challenged, love some work and hate it other times but perseverance is it's own reward. What's to be gained by blaming others or the universe for your condition?....even if your 100% correct and were dealt a bad hand, SO WHAT? Start from where you are and take one step, then another in the direction you want to go. If it was easy it would be worthless.

With that attitude--YES YOU are fucked, take responsibility and move forward and you probably are not fucked. Get some perspective man and be a MAN, do you think it was ever easy for anyone? Do you not know of far harder situations that real men rose from and thrived? Be adult enough to take responsibility already, sheeesh. The victim mentality is disgusting and guarantees continued failure.

Ryu no dojima Guess what...every generation has it's trials. I grew up with the minute to minute fear of global Armageddon, a nuclear holocaust was a CONSTANT reality, and I had the Vietnam war to look forward to, I was lucky the war ended a little before my turn to be drafted. Others had it far worse as they came back home expecting to be treated as heroes like they deserved, like the WW2 vets were, but then they were spit on at the airport and no one wanted to hear about it, the war was a sore subject that everyone wanted to forget. Those vets really got fucked up mentally by it all. (remember the draft? Yeah, we would be sent to war regardless of our objections) So instead of feeling SO sorry for yourself, realize you have had it FAR easier and better than almost every other generation before you.

Don't tell me you ENVY an ass like Trump? I sure don't. It sounds like you are doing fine and adversity has made you far more confident and a better human. It seems to me you are an example that confirms this vid. You rose despite your starting point, and that's the point. Who cares if your CEO or whatever. I also do NOT envy those who were born rich, they have very serious issues to deal with especially if they have been handed everything and denied personal responsibility. It's never easy for anyone.
