Yeah I always take those with a half grain of salt, what hubby is going to say it sucks even when it does?

Politically Incorrect Bender HA! You got me there.

@Comeback180 For most products I don't have all day to research it. For big purchases sure but for $20??

D Brick I recently paid $10 more for a $30 product on Amazon bc Walfart would have me drive half way across town and suffer their misreble store to pick it up! You gotta be kidding me, I can't even leave my drive for less than $5. hahaha "Convenience" is a hell of a lot more than easier it's typically cheaper if your time is worth squat.

RandomX Half is less than a whole, get it?

D Brick I'm not scoffing at $20 but my time is precious. I know Walmart shoppers don't give a flying F__k about time for example, another reason to avoid the depressing place. An hour is $100 to me should I spend that on a $20 purchase?

@Hypohair You SURE CAN! It will take several yr.s of often frustrating building of basic skills and you won't like any of it unless you are quite unique. Then a decade on the job experience (at least you'll be making decent change by then) often intensively exasperating situations exercised with maximum self discipline in some conditions you probably haven't fully conceived of--in direct sun at over 110 deg. F. dressed in heavy protective gear, clinging to not much 100 ft. in the air (tho not often) or in spaces so tight many would panic. In the winter maybe laying on your back on ice and slush. It's typically dirty and hazardous and disrespected by ignorant society. No glory no prestige except among coworkers and customers. Still want to sign up? I earn every goddamn penny but you don't need a Nobel Prize for it. PLENTY of demand for it as long as I've been around.

@Hypohair OH--and I'm always looking for someone to train to assist or even replace me as I can't do it for ever. But it's damn tough finding a man worthy of the label and physically demanding enough to filter out women kind. You also need to develop business skills and highest level of integrity. You'll need to invest 100 to $250k in equipment (requires yr.s of living a spartan life with no luxuries) which you will maintain on own along with billing, collections, looking at jobs all on your time and expenses out of pocket. You'll need to build a substantial savings account bc when anything goes wrong your income will go to negative. Sound enviable?

@Hypohair It should go without saying but I fear it may not--despite all the trials and demands just sketched out above, failure is not only an option but the most likely outcome at any step along the way. Still up for it? The "good life" never was easy and never will be. You get out what you invest into it.

@tony001212 Why then do we see some posts with "Verified Purchaser" and others without?
