Climate alarmist sure don't.

How many here have actually made the effort to examine the science and tried to understand it instead of just being spoon fed by popular media like CNBS? There's never been a time in my 60 yrs where reality wasn't sacrificed on the alter of revenue, drama, fear and/or politics, nor a time when reporters knew or cared anything about science. The data, trends, charts, comparing various greenhouse gasses, etc?

@jaredbarker9515 I don't know who's worse, dems or R's, but that's a tangent. Digging up the truth is difficult but raw data can be found as well as, century or 150 yr old publications reporting max temps, fatalities from heat, wild land fires, sea ice, glacial melting, etc., all over the N. hemisphere. Or even recent yrs reports of 2000 yr old Viking mountain trails just uncovered by retreating glaciers (think about THAT) in Norway or similar in other places like Switzerland....ya gotta plant a seed of doubt somewhere or the intellectually lazy masses will never consider they might have been duped therefore can't self correct.

@jaredbarker9515 I mean you can't toss an encyclopedia at anyone so I have a handful to a dozen pertinent considerations that, amazingly (or not), few climate alarmists have even considered: 1) over last few M yrs CO2 has definitely correlated with temp change but it has lagged temp as often as led it. So what's really the driver? 2) if CO2 was the driver of climate then we would never escape a glacial maximum but instead the entire planet would likely freeze over bc such time is when albedo is max and CO2 is a minimum. 3) what is the minimum level of CO2 for plant life? My understanding is mass plant extinction, to a degree Earth would never recover from, occurs around 100 to 150ppm. This indicates we have repeatedly been extremely close to global catastrophe in recent geologic history of 170/180ppm. NO question plants are more drought tolerant, healthier and stronger at 400ppm then 300 and life flourished at 15X higher, 7000ppm in distant past. And of course we live in near unprecedented LOW CO2 levels over life's history. Why would we think the random level we inherited is optimal? Does one suppose Earth was made for humans ? 4) CO2 is a greenhouse gas but a puny one compared to water vapor and the irradiance spectrum blocked by CO2 almost entirely overlaps the H2O spectrum, it's like tossing a bed sheet on top of a 6cm thick goose down quilt.

It's hot outside and a record was broken somewhere therefore CO2 causes climate change.

@qjtvaddict Yeah it was as pathetic as most of the rest of the West blindly following the evil CCP. If you have a point to make please do so.

@jaredbarker9515 GOOD! Most apparently are not exposed to such or didn't bother considering.

@ricktd6891 But it does make my organic gardens thrive! Amazing the power of simply repeating a mantra endlessly, it becomes imbedded in the common consciousness as factual no matter how false. I blame parents brainwashing their young children with religious nonsense as the first exposure, practice to such non-thinking behavior. Once you establish rhetoric as a substitute to reason it's easy to apply it other places. We use the term "religion" as a pejorative any time it's not our own religion , including regarding climate beliefs, we all inherently know it's to be disrespected.

Some of us have actually looked at the science and data instead of being lazy and manipulated by popular media that has zero interest in reality but thrives on 'clicks' and manufactured fear.

@k.nielsen5589 Explain the Younger Dryass where some 12 deg C swings in as little as half a century. Compare that to the hypothetical 1 or 2C this century. The "Midlevel Warming" only half a millennia ago with similar temps to today. I don't care about personality X thinks this and another thinks the opposite. DATA and SCIENCE is all I care about, address that or nothing.

@NaumRusomarov Few fun facts from the IPCC a few yrs ago, paraphrased::: "There will be minimal net global economic impact from human caused climate change at least through this century." (implies a hell of a lot) "Greenland Ice sheet is melting no faster today then 80 yrs ago." "There have been no increase in hurricanes is last century." (also true for weather extremes in general) Granted authorities and consensus are not science but IPCC is often cheery picked by establishment media or otherwise misused, and shamefully most folks get their "science" from Yellow Media.
