@1310beth Those out of work in service sector should look to the trades--endless opportunities and shortages there for decades now. Excess regulations are a big problem too.

@Pygmonicus MOST trades, you don't have to pick the exceptions and you don't need to rely on wages--create YOUR OWN JOB and set your rates to what the market will bare. I started building my own biz at 20 and never looked back, just focused on increasing my value to customers. It didn't happen overnight but I charge about $120/hr and still have far more demand than I can to do. (overhead cuts my net to maybe $80/hr)
