  1. IS Tesla a car co? Some good reasons to think of it as a tech or an alternative energy and transportation company. The electronics and battery technology on the Model 3 are apparently miles ahead of anyone else in the biz. The 3 did NOT simply leverage S and X batt tech, they improved it significantly. The 3 has major room to improve structurally/production efficiency just by using common industry methods. All the car and truck companies 'that matter' will be offering competitive options soon, Freighliner claims it will trounce Tesla semi, on and on. I believe Elon welcomes all comers, he's man enough to compete or fail on merit, he wants to transform the world more than have Tesla survive...good for the world more than the stock, HA! Always two sides to any trade. I've done well with FB and NVDA prior to this yr., one always needs to check their reasons for betting long or short so these sort of discussions are important to me even if one of the guys wasn't quite up to the job.
