T- Smooth No need childish insults. He's correct that both nations are inducing consumers to purchase EVs and that will effect the GLOBAL market, regardless of his (sloppy?) use of words. I think you knew what he meant.

You don't get it. They have a several yr. backlog already, Tesla needs to PRODUCE CARS! What they didn't produce last quarter MATTERS. It's the key metric right now The demand is far beyond their ability to meet it already, "the market will grow" is meaningless if they can't begin to meet current demand and so far they can't. (I have high hopes going forward but 'hope is not an investment strategy') There are well over half a million pre-orders for the 3 and so far they have delivered a couple thousand. They need to hit 5 then 10 thousand per WEEK to get your 3 in three years if you order it today. Are YOU going to wait several yr.s for your car? It's well understood that they offer a great product but that means nothing if they can't get them out the door by the hundreds of thousands. Missing projections is normally devastating to a stock which is the context here, it's stock market news. Tesla gets a massive, perhaps unprecedented break on Wall Street in this regard because no one takes the over optimistic, 'ridiculously ambitious' projections literally and because TSLA is a cult stock...the base of stock holders love the product and the Musk Mission (so do I) and don't seem to care about the risk or valuations. (I care about all of it)
