  1. Maybe. Could be coincidence but it looks bad, I have sell orders on my modest BA stock. There are serious consequences for grounding fleets of aircraft too, if need be yes but you don't do it in an emotional reaction. I think FAA, Boeing and airlines can deal with this, all these entities are in constant dialog on any and all issues regarding safety, they didn't become so spectacularly safe for nothing...you can't walk from your house to the curb as safe as flying across the nation. In the several yr.s post 9/11 attacks our response with painfully long security lines at airports, killed more thousands of folks than died that one day...ppl started driving long distances in their cars more, FAR more dangerous than any airline could possibly be.
