@marygoff3332 if she's going to fight him yes there's no sense in dividing the children in half. Oldest lesson in the book. Solomon knew that. Just relinquish and let her run the show. Take whatever crumbs she throws it'll go by real fast then the children will know what's up. And they will know that she kept them away from a perfectly loving father if that's the case. But to try to tear the children in two shows that he was just as selfish as she was. But that is pretty much the trend these days trying to hold everybody to some preconceived legal notion when it's a highly-charged emotional situation. You've got men killing pregnant women whereas at one time they just would have walked away from their responsibilities and everyone would still be alive. It's a slightly different subject but that's the case you get DNA testing and all this stuff and you try to force a man to be responsible. There's certain things you are better off not trying to force. And if she doesn't want to be fair you can't force her to be fair as is evidenced by the fact that the stupid guy is dead

Think about this. Those who can do. those who can't teach. So the professor professing to know about law.... but the first thing in Family Matters is try to settle it. Don't fight. He should have let it go and picked up the relationship whatever scraps she offered. He can straighten it out when they turn 18. He blew it.

@thaisdantan2293 I understand. His reaction could have saved his life. She was Petty I don't quite understand the family Dynamics but they seem a little enmeshed if the grandparents were so concerned about it they should have stayed moved closer to their grandchildren not the other way around. These are just my opinions of course but bottom line when he saw her being unreasonable he should have let it go and bided his time till his children were older and could see their mother for who she is and could see that he was a loving caring father who didn't want to cause extra Strife in the household. Again... the man is dead not too smart
